Social Media Marketing Internship (Unpaid)

Ready to step into the world of travel, adventure and cannabis?! If you love Colorado, food, events and have an interest in social media marketing, then you could be the perfect fit for Lit Destinations. This is an educational internship. I KNOW what it’s like to do an unpaid internship and receive little to no advice. That will not be the case here. We promise a great experience and learning opportunity unlike any other.
Lit Destinations is looking for an active, outgoing, creative chic that is 420 friendly and seeking creative freedom in the social media world. You must be willing to ask questions and want to learn about running a business. This job is for someone who IS NOT addicted to social media, but understands its importance as a tool to connect with our community. Since this is cannabis related, you must be over 21 years old to apply.

Responsibilities and learning objectives for Intern:

Manage and create social media marketing campaigns
-
Create Instagram and Facebook posts - our focus is engagement, not followers

Learn how to write travel blogs and promote destinations through storytelling

Get behind the scenes of how to build a website, use graphic design tools, and run ads
-
Complete design projects with minimal supervision and have creative freedom

Understand and implement EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)

Learn design skills and creative tools to expand your artistic side

Explore Colorado through hiking and road trips

Assist in photo shoots for social media content

Understand the world of being an entrepreneur.

What we need from you:

Flexibility, willingness to try new things and the ability to work in a nontraditional environment

Passion for learning and problem solving

High level of creativity & ability to think outside the box

Detail oriented and values organization and clarity

Highly motivated, energetic self starter

Strong writing skills and the ability to speak with different brand voices

Experience with Photoshop is a major bonus

Must not be afraid to speak up if unclear about anything - clear communication is necessary

Part-time commitment, 10-12 hours a week
Like working from home? Us too.
You can work remotely, but living in the Fort Collins and Loveland area would be preferable since there will be teaching involved. If you are in school, we can work around your class schedule.
Qualifications​

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Social Media Management: 1 year (Preferred)
