New to Colorado?

We've got you covered.

Colorado has so much to offer when it comes to entertainment, outdoor sports, food, adventure and more.

The number one thing I want to stress is this: you may experience all seasons in one day. Keep this in mind while packing. Just know this, you're not a silly goose for bringing mittens as well as a bikini. Mittens are almost always useful and so are bikinis....hello hot springs in winter!

BEST TIME

TO GO

Summer time is the best time. Busy season is November-January for skiing and March for Spring Break.

STAY HYDRATED

You're high altitude. Drink water! Stay hydrated and watch how much alcohol you drink, it'll be stronger.

WHAT IS A

BUDTENDER?

These are sales associates that sell you weed at the dispensary. They are not medical experts.

Call 844-LEAF411 to speak to a canna-nurse if you have questions and need recommendations.

GETTING AROUND

Unless you're in downtown Denver, public transportation is a no-go. Best to rent a car to get around fastest.

NOT EVERYONE SMOKES WEED

Not everyone is going to be cool with you smoking. Be courteous and never smoke in public places or parks.

Recycling Bottles

PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF

Colorado is beautiful and we'd like to keep it this way. If you're smoking joints, don't throw your roach on the ground. Got dogs? Better grab some bags!

WEATHER

July is the hottest month. August & September are lovely. January-March chance of blizzards. With this in mind, bring layers, it can be 88°F one minute and 10°F the next.

WHEN IN DOUBT,

SAY "RAD"

Want to fit in? Say something is "rad" and they'll think you're a local.

DON'T GET BURNED,

WEAR SUNSCREEN

Taking a hike or playing in one of our many lakes? Layer that SPF like there's no tomorrow! You will burn, especially if there's a lot of snow. Sunglasses are another must.
